Pre-Appointment.

Upon first arrival to the salon, our clients will be asked to complete a digital pre-appointment consultation form. Should you wish to complete this form ahead of time, you can find the forms below.

We kindly ask that you arrive on time and prepare for the length of your service. We value the amount of time that we have to create your vision for you and we cannot take responsibility for the result of your treatment, if the service time is incomplete.

EYELASHES

Please arrive for your service with a make up free, clean face. When coming for your fill or touch up appointment, please ensure your lashes are freshly washed and free of all makeup or perspire as remaining products can impact the bonding of your lash treatment.

HAIR REMOVAL

Please arrive for your service with freshly cleaned skin, free from lotions, oils and fragrances. Left over products on the surface of the skin can result in a longer, potentially more uncomfortable service as the paste may not adhere to the unwanted hairs. Gently exfoliate the skin within 48 hours, but not the same day of the service. We recommend avoiding tanning beds, receiving spray tans or chemical treatments prior to the appointment.

SEMI PERMANENT MAKE UP PROCEDURE

It is recommended to obtain an aftercare oil, such as coconut oil or grape seed oil as well as an unscented cleanser to care for the area post-procedure

PROCEDURE PREPARATION

- No Ibuprofen or Aspirin prior to appointment (Tylenol is ok, if necessary)
- No caffeine 4-6 hours prior to appointment
- No alcohol or drugs 24 hours prior to appointment
- No shaping or waxing brows for 3 weeks prior to appointment
- No growth serum treatments 4 weeks prior to appointment
- No Botox or Retinoids for 6 weeks prior to appointment
- No exfoliating, chemical or laser treatments for 6 weeks prior to appointment

ADDITIONAL FACTORS TO CONSIDER

- A compromised immune system may impact the healing process. Reschedule if feeling unwell
- Scheduling the procedure directly prior to or during your menstrual cycle may cause hyper-sensitivity
- Failing to follow the pre-care requirements may result in excessive bleeding, poor results or cancellation of the appointment

Post-Appointment.

EYELASH AFTER CARE

To ensure your treatment stays beautiful and long lasting, proper care and maintenance is required. We recommend follow-up appointments every 2-3 weeks for lash extensions and 6-8 weeks for lifts and/or tints.

 24 HOURS AFTER APPOINTMENT

- Keep your eyes dry and avoid contact with water
- Avoid the use of makeup on or around your eyes
- Avoid swimming pools, steam rooms, saunas or steam facials

 GENERAL RECOMMENDED CARE

- Groom your lashes daily by brushing with the disposable mascara wand provided
- Keep your lashes clean by properly removing all makeup daily with oil-free remover
- Wash your lashes daily with a water-based, oil-free lash shampoo using with a soft clean cleansing brush or the tips of your fingers

ADDITIONAL CARE REQUIREMENTS

-Do not use mascara on eyelash extensions (lifts and tints may use after 24 hours)
-Do not use an eyelash curler on your eyelashes
-Do not touch, play, pull or scratch your eyelashes as doing so may permanently damage your natural lashes

HAIR REMOVAL AFTER CARE

Following a hair removal treatment, after care is required to eliminate the chance of a reaction. We recommend follow up treatments every 3-8 weeks, depending on the comfort and growth of hair.

24 HOURS AFTER APPOINTMENT

-Avoid activities that cause friction or sweating
-Avoid swimming pools or other communal bathing areas
-Avoid serums or other uncommon skincare treatments

GENERAL RECOMMENDED CARE
-Gently exfoliate the area regularly to prevent the skin from growing over ingrown hairs
-Moisturize the skin daily

SEMI PERMANENT MAKE UP PROCEDURE

Following a semi-permanent make up procedure, you can expect to experience slight sensitivity and/or redness. The average client is healed within 1-2 weeks following the procedure however final results are not determined until 4 to 6 weeks after healing. A mandatory touch up appointment is required at this time to ensure symmetry and satisfaction with results.

The hair strokes and colour intensity will appear crisp, darker and bold at first but will soften up in appearance as the skin heals. The area will shed, and begin to oxidize over the first month. The colour will reduce by 30-50%.

Semi-permanent make up is expected to fade over time. A colour refresh procedure is recommended every 12-36 months to maintain the results of the treatment. A colour refresh procedure re-enhances the colour as well as provides crisp stroke definition to any areas where strokes may have faded. Oily skin may require more touch ups.

It is recommended to follow the aftercare instructions below for best results.

IMMEDIATELY AFTER

- Cleanse hands with unscented soap and water prior to touching the area.
- Follow by cleansing the area with unscented cleanser and water every hour until bed on the first day
- Pat dry with clean towel or let air dry completely
- Apply aftercare oil, such as coconut oil or grape seed oil, immediately after cleansing

24-48 HOURS AFTER

- Repeat the process above once in the morning and once in the evening

7-10 DAYS AFTER

- Continue to cleanse as usual and apply after care oil, as needed, 2-4 times per day
- Avoid the use of makeup on or around the area
- Avoid intense activity which may cause excessive sweating or contact with dirt or dust
- Avoid sun, swimming pools, steam rooms, saunas or steam facials
- Do not use other creams other than recommended

NOTE: Following proper aftercare is important and lowers the probability of infection. Signs of infection may include lack of healing, excessive redness, excessive swelling, bleeding, blistering or pus in the area. Should you show signs of infection following the procedure, please seek medical attention within 24 hours and let our team know.
